Stockholm Writers Festival

I have entered Volcanic Winter into the prize award of the Stockholm Writer’s Festival, May 22-24. The SWF is for unpublished emerging authors. While the prize wold be nice, I have entered the festival to immerse myself amongst writers, agents and publishers to learn as much as I can about becoming a successful published writer. https://stockholmwritersfestival.com/

With 2 days to spare…

With a deadline of 31 January to have a completed manuscript to be eligible, Volcanic Winter made it by 2 days. Made what? Entry into the Australian Society of Authors free mentoring contest for unpublished works. By mid May I will know if I can gain valuable mentoring from one of a distinguished panel of writers, agents and publishers to help build knowledge and skill as a writer. https://www.asauthors.org/services/mentors-register

Draft Manuscript of Volcanic Winter completed

I am now editing and re-writing the manuscript of Volcanic Winter in preparation for seeking Agents or Publishers. The draft is 84,000 words. Any agent who reads this and wants to read an excerpt, you won’t be disappointed - and if you contact me I won’t be disappointed either!
